Qualifications

• Degree holder required.
• 2-3 years of experience in logistics or trade management.
• Good knowledge of ocean freight products.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions.
• Familiarity with carrier functions and shipping operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate in multiple dialects or languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pre-analyze RFQs for potential and importance.
• Collaborate on solutions for space and equipment issues with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide analysis of trade KPIs.
• Upload FAK, MTS and NAC levels internally.
• Negotiate and maintain competitive rates with carriers.
• Establish country-specific rates with carriers for named accounts.
• Monitor carrier performance and ensure adherence to contracts.
• Provide market information to countries and support ASPA countries on rates and carrier issues.
• Monitor market rate changes and report to management.
• Coordinate allocations with AP allocation team to maximize yield.
