Job summary

Merhaba Amigo, a halal Middle Eastern-Mexican kitchen in Woodlands, invites applications for a Kitchen Assistant. You will prep ingredients, assemble kebabs and bowls to order, and support the grill team in a fast-paced, halal-compliant kitchen.

Shifts rotate including weekends and public holidays. No experience? Food safety certification will help, and being tidy and reliable is essential for team success.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 1 certificate is required or willing to obtain one.
• Fast, tidy and reliable team player.
• Available for rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prep fresh ingredients: cut, marinate and portion meats, vegetables, grains and sauces.
• Assemble kebabs, burritos, sushi burritos and bowls to order for dine-in, delivery and catering.
• Help on the grill and cook sides with the Outlet Chef.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe and Halal-compliant.
• Receive deliveries and help with stock counts.
