Job summary

Certis is seeking a Facility/Operations Manager to supervise all facility operations during shifts, coordinating with contractors and building users. You will monitor on-site teams, ensure SOP compliance and safety standards, and respond to incidents or service requests with timely escalation when needed.

The role requires a diploma/degree in Facilities Management or related field with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
• Min 5 years of facility/operations management experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance processes, and workplace safety.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate facility operations during assigned shifts.
• Act as liaison between facility management, contractors and building users.
• Monitor performance of on-site teams ensuring SOPs and safety standards.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies and service requests; escalate when needed.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Maintain records of incidents, maintenance activities and shift handovers.
• Support implementation of policies, procedures and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Prepare and submit shift reports with improvement recommendations.
• Foster a positive, productive work environment and guide team members.
