Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce WSH and fire safety rules through inspections, risk management, regulatory liaison, and performance reporting.
• Emergency Preparedness: Audit fire protection systems, lead fire drills, support CERT compliance.
• Policy & Process: Formulate, review, and update EHS policies, safe work procedures, and emergency response frameworks.
• Daily Operations: Oversee building system checks, vendor performance, user coordination, event management, and incident reporting.
• Project & Procurement: Manage tenders, service contracts, comprehensive system maintenance, and handovers from contractors.
• Continuous Improvement: Assess operational strategies to optimize maintenance costs and explore automation technologies.

Facilities and Safety Assistant / Manager

Oversees the daily operations, maintenance, and asset development of assigned zones, including infrastructure and fit-out projects. This role drives end-to-end project delivery from budgeting and procurement to final handover. Ensures a safe, compliant, and cost-optimized environment by integrating Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), fire safety, and operational process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce WSH and fire safety rules through inspections, risk management, regulatory liaison, and performance reporting.
• Emergency Preparedness: Audit fire protection systems, lead fire drills, and support Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) compliance.
• Policy & Process: Formulate, review, and update EHS policies, safe work procedures, and emergency response frameworks.
• Daily Operations: Oversee building system checks, vendor performance, user coordination, event management, and incident reporting.
• Project & Procurement: Manage tenders, service contracts, comprehensive system maintenance, and project handovers from contractors.
• Continuous Improvement: Assess operational strategies to optimize maintenance costs and explore automation technologies.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, Facility Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or maintenance management.
• Certified Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Officer and registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM) required.
• Advantageous qualifications include Green Mark (GMM/GMFM), SCEM, Safety Coordinator, or LEW certifications.
• Strong communication skills, adaptable to fast-paced environments, and open to supporting after-hours operations when required.
