Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore seeks an operations-focused facilities professional to manage Mandai complex facilities and support memorial sites. You will supervise internal teams and external contractors, ensure building systems operate smoothly, and coordinate maintenance, procurement, and safety compliance to deliver dignified after-death care services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Facilities/Estate Management or Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Mature, tactful, independent and resourceful.
• Able to interact well and foster teamwork.
• Willing to work in after-life care environment.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of facilities and installations, including building systems, landscaping, pest control and conservancy.
• Ensure M&E systems (HVAC, plumbing, lighting, fire protection) function properly.
• Carry out daily site inspections and follow up on defects.
• Supervise facilities, landscaping, pest control, conservancy and outsourced contractors.
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance per contract requirements.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of works.
• Procure office equipment, supplies and uniforms as needed.
• Process invoices, manage copier contracts and track paper usage.
