Job summary

ACP Computer Training School seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to lead day-to-day operations and supervise FM technicians and contractors. You will ensure reliable critical systems and report on performance and improvements.

You will plan preventive and predictive maintenance, manage inspections, prioritise service requests, and monitor energy and water use. Strong leadership, CMMS proficiency and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Facility Management or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in FM/building operations; ACMV and M&E experience.
  • Experience leading technicians, contractors and vendors.
  • Familiar with WSH, permit-to-work, risk assessment and fire safety.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, email and CMMS tools.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills; service mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise FM technicians and contractors in daily operations.
  • Plan, schedule and verify preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
  • Prioritize service requests and follow through to closure.
  • Oversee ACMV, electrical, UPS, generators, fire safety and utilities systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and escalate defects and risks.
  • Monitor water and electricity usage; flag abnormal consumption.
  • Support fire safety, emergency response, business continuity and after-hours calls.
  • Ensure safety and permit-to-work compliance; document PPE and fire safety.
  • Maintain asset lists and incident records; prepare handover and reports.
  • Analyze trends and recommend improvements in service, energy and water efficiency.
  • Coordinate with AV, cleaning, security, horticulture and pest control.

Job description

About the role

Lead day-to-day facilities operations . You'll direct FM technicians and contractors, keep critical building systems reliable, and report on performance and improvements.

What you'll do
  • Lead and supervise FM technicians and contractors in daily operations
  • Plan, schedule and verify preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, inspections and fault rectification
  • Prioritize service requests, investigate breakdowns and follow through until closure
  • Oversee maintenance of ACMV, electrical, UPS, generators, fire alarm, sprinkler and clean agent systems, HV/LV switchboards, lifts and plumbing
  • Conduct or oversee daily, weekly and monthly inspections, and escalates defects and risks
  • Monitor water and electricity usage and flag abnormal consumption
  • Support fire safety, emergency response, business continuity and after-hours call-back activation
  • Ensure contractors and technicians follow WSH, permit-to-work, risk assessment, PPE and fire safety requirements
  • Keep asset lists, maintenance and incident records and documentation up to date
  • Prepare daily handover logs and weekly, monthly, incident and defect reports
  • Analyse maintenance trends and recommend improvements in service, energy and water efficiency
  • Coordinate with AV, cleaning, security, horticulture and pest control contractors
What we're looking for
  • Diploma in Facility Management, Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of FM or building operations and maintenance experience, including ACMV and M&E
  • Prior experience leading technicians, contractors and vendors
  • Familiarity with key building systems and with WSH, permit-to-work, risk assessment and fire safety requirements
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, email and CMMS or similar maintenance tracking tools
  • Strong report-writing, communication and problem-solving skills, and a service mindset
  • Able to respond promptly to urgent matters and support after-hours call-back as required
  • An advantage: Licensed Electrical Worker, Singapore Certified Energy Manager, Green Mark Facilities Manager, Fire Safety Manager or WSH Coordinator
