Job summary

SH DESIGN & BUILD PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across properties in Singapore.

You will ensure building security, fire safety, waste management, and the smooth functioning of M&E systems, coordinating with technicians and housekeeping as needed. You will conduct routine inspections, plan maintenance schedules, liaise with authorities and service providers, and maintain documentation for compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Building, Facilities Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in construction/building.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facility management at the properties, including building security, fire security and waste disposal.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure effective and efficient management of common areas.
• Plan and schedule daily duties for technicians and housekeeping staff to ensure high performance standards.
• Plan and implement building maintenance programme, AEI, M&E systems and equipment.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety equipment, work methods and procedures.
• Coordinate with authorities for maintenance approvals and licenses.
• Liaise with government authorities, architects and engineers on management and maintenance matters.
• Recommend necessary repair work, renovation, furnishings and equipment replacement.
• Engage service providers through approval systems; manage contracts and performance.
