Job summary

Suntec Real Estate Services Management in Singapore seeks a Facilities/Building Manager to oversee day-to-day M&E operations, procurement, and contractor performance. The role engages with tenants, AEI projects, and digitisation initiatives to optimise asset value.

You will coordinate maintenance, monitor utilities, and support sustainability efforts across a high-profile portfolio. Fresh graduates are welcome; 2+ years’ experience preferred; strong English and IT skills required.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Facilities/Building/Estate Management or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ relevant working experience; good knowledge in M&E services with hands-on experience managing service vendors.
• Experience in tenant management and AEI projects would be advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks with minimal supervision.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure smooth day-to-day maintenance and operations (M&E services) of assigned building.
• Involve in procurement including preparation of works/tender specs, vendor quotes, tender participation, and contract documentation.
• Ensure procurement in accordance with DOA and within budget.
• Complete rectification of building defects, minor works, and tenancy works per schedule and regulatory requirements.
• Implement planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and ensure contractors deliver high-standard service.
• Monitor and renew all M&E maintenance contracts and ensure performance per contract.
• Monitor licenses & certificates from authorities and renew on time.
• Liaise with tenants/building owners to maintain good relations and address feedback.
• Assist handover/takeover of leased premises and prepare reinstatement/condition reports.
• Monitor utilities consumption and submit monthly reports.
• Manage fit-out/reinstatement works per specs, within budget and timeline.
• Plan with vendors to implement digitisation initiatives to improve processes and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and keep up-to-date with regulations.
• Support Sustainability and Digitisation initiatives on site.
