Job summary

ALLIED SEARCH PTE.LTD. is seeking a Facilities executive in Singapore to perform daily building inspections and oversee security, cleaning, landscaping, waste management, and essential building systems such as lifts, car parks, and fire safety.

You will coordinate with the M&E team on tests during fit-outs, manage budgets, supervise fire protection facilities, conduct drills, liaise with tenants and authorities, and handle procurement records with care.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Building Management & Services, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of the building and address issues with recommendations to management.
• Oversee security, cleaning, landscaping, waste management, and building systems such as lifts, car parks and fire safety.
• Ensure routine servicing by term contractors according to schedules.
• Inspect cleanliness, car park maintenance, signage and coordinate improvements with management.
• Coordinate testing and inspections with the M&E team during unit fit‑out and reinstatement work.
• Manage budgeting and preparation for operational and capital expenditures.
• Inspect fire protection facilities and coordinate corrective actions or improvements.
• Coordinate fire drills and ensure proper execution.
• Interface with tenants, authorities and contractors regarding improvement projects.
• Assist in contract administration and maintain records related to building and contractors.
• Foster positive relationships with tenants and handle emergencies outside office hours.

Education

Degree / Diploma in Building Management & Services, or equivalent

Job description

As a Facilities executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Conduct daily inspections of the building to verify its satisfactory condition, promptly addressing any issues and providing recommendations to management as necessary.
• Perform various tasks including security management, cleaning, landscaping, waste management, and oversight of building systems such as lifts, car parks, and fire safety.
• Ensure routine servicing of building components by term contractors according to prescribed schedules and tasks.
• Regularly inspect the building to uphold standards of cleanliness, maintenance of car parks, and signage, among other aspects, and provide recommendations to management for any necessary improvements.
• Collaborate with the M&E team to coordinate testing and inspections during unit fit-out and reinstatement work.
• Handle budgeting and preparation for operational and capital expenditures.
• Conduct regular inspections of fire protection facilities and systems, taking corrective action or recommending improvements to management when required.
• Coordinate fire drill exercises and ensure their proper execution.
• Interface with the public, tenants, and relevant authorities regarding the implementation of improvement projects.
• Assist in contract administration and procurement processes, maintaining meticulous records of correspondence, documents, and materials related to the building and contractors.
• Foster positive relationships with tenants, addressing their feedback and attending to emergencies outside of office hours as necessary

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree / Diploma in Building Management & Services, or equivalent.
