Job summary

sggovterp is seeking an Engineer at Tuas South Incineration Plant to oversee the operation and maintenance of building facilities. The role focuses on leading a team to ensure reliable facilities performance and safety compliance.

You will coordinate maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment, manage security and fire protection systems, and drive Workplace Safety and Health reviews, while adhering to NEA procurement guidelines and IM requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in government procurement and contract administration.
• Ability to lead and work with others.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of technical officers to oversee maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and cleaning of the facility.
• Manage security and fire fighting systems within the premises.
• Lead and coordinate reviews on Workplace Safety and Health issues.
• Call and administer tenders/contract related to facilities management and safety, adhering to NEA procurement guidelines and IM requirements.
• Any other duties as assigned.
