Job summary

The National Environment Agency in Singapore seeks a qualified engineer to manage contracts for incineration services with PPP WTE plants and oversee associated legal, financial, and audit matters. You will coordinate waste delivery and monitor performance to maximise throughput and energy generation across NEA facilities.

Ideal candidates are degree-qualified engineers with strong analytical skills, English communication ability, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Environmental Engineering required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in English communication, presentation and report writing.

Responsibilities

Manage contracts for incineration services to NEA by PPP WTE plants.
Coordinate with Legal and Finance Divisions and external advisors on contract issues.
Plan and coordinate waste delivery to PPP WTE plants to maximise throughput and energy generation.
Monitor PPP WTE plant performance, review reports and suggest improvements.
Verify monthly service invoices to PPP WTE plants.
Plan and oversee audits of PPP WTE plants.
Coordinate boiler overhaul programmes among NEA and PPP WTE plants.
Assist capacity planning and waste bunker level projections across facilities.
Optimize waste distribution between WTE plants to improve overall efficiency.
