Job summary

sggovterp in Singapore seeks a capable engineer to manage contracts for incineration services, coordinate with Legal and Finance Divisions, and oversee audits and capacity planning at WTE facilities. You will drive throughput, efficiency, and safe operations across PPP WTE plants and the Tuas complex.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Environmental Engineering, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage contracts for incineration services to NEA by PPP WTE plants.
• Coordinate with Legal and Finance Divisions and external advisors on complex issues.
• Plan and coordinate refuse delivery to PPP WTE plants to maximise throughput and generation.
• Monitor performance of PPP WTE plants, evaluate reports and recommend improvements.
• Verify monthly invoices for service payments to PPP WTE plants.
• Plan and oversee audits of PPP WTE plants.
• Coordinate boiler overhaul programme among NEA and PPP WTE plants.
• Carry out waste bunker level projection and collaborate on capacity planning.
• Optimize waste distribution between WTE plants for higher efficiency.
• Coordinate with and assist the Division on emergency planning matters.
• Manage projects related to PPP WTE plants.
