Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore is seeking a Facilities/M&E maintenance professional for a 2-year contract at Paya Lebar. You will plan and supervise contractors for preventive maintenance and building services, troubleshoot faults, and ensure safety compliance.

The role requires a Diploma in FM or ME Eng, 2+ years inFacilities/M&E, and a valid driving license (preferred). Daily tasks include meter readings, vendor coordination, and handling emergency responses.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Facilities Management or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Resourceful and able to work independently.
• Class 2/3 Driving license preferred.
• Able to cycle and physically fit.
• More than 2 years’ experience in Facilities/M&E maintenance.
• Working location at Paya Lebar.
• Contract duration: 2 years.
• Singaporean only.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise contractors for M&E preventive maintenance (fire protection, lifts, cooling towers, air conditioning, pumps).
• Plan and supervise contractors for building services (cleaning, landscaping, waste management, renovation).
• Troubleshoot faults and perform corrective maintenance (replace light tubes, fittings, power points).
• Conduct daily routine inspection of building/M&E facilities.
• Record meter readings to monitor electricity and water consumption.
• Ensure contractors comply with safety and security requirements.
• Raise purchase requisitions for works/services by contractors/vendors.
• Accept completed services (e.g., pest control, grass cutting).
• Respond to emergency calls after office hours (power failure, fire).

• Plan and supervise contractors for building services works such as cleaning / landscaping/ waste management, renovation, etc.

• Troubleshoot faults and carry out corrective maintenance such as replace light tubes/fitting, install power points, etc.

• Conduct daily routine inspection for building/M&E facilities works.

• Record meter reading to monitor electricity /water consumption.

• Ensure contractor comply with security and safety requirements for corrective and preventive maintenance works.

• Perform acceptance of services completed by contractor e.g. pest control, grass cutting, etc.
