Job summary

Public Service Division seeks an Assistant Director (Facilities Management - Contracts) to ensure safe, well-maintained Integrated Community Hubs. You will support governance of FM contracts, drive procurement processes, and lead a supervisory team to uphold high infrastructure standards for residents.

The role focuses on policy alignment, contract management, KPIs, and efficient PO processing via GeBIZ. A professional FM or engineering qualification with leadership experience is required.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification or degree in Building, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Estate Management, Facility Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of facilities management experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Review and align FM policies for the Integrated Community Hubs with Infrastructure Group policies to maintain standards across Hubs.
• Lead and guide the Senior Manager (FM – Contracts) to establish robust contract management processes and governance.
• Establish performance standards and KPIs for contract management and report on governance.
• Monitor the status of FM contracts, follow up on variations and documentation for timely resolution.
• Oversee Purchase Orders via GeBIZ for FM works and proper funding charging.
• Support Hubs in Cyclical Maintenance Programmes, improvement works, and ad hoc projects.
