Job summary

POSITIVE ENGINEERING PTE LTD seeks a Facade Design Engineer to lead the development of facade solutions from concept through detailed design and construction documentation. You will produce and review shop drawings, calculations, analyses, and supporting reports to ensure fabrication readiness.

You will coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and project teams on design and technical matters, attend coordination meetings, and manage RFIs and material

Responsibilities

• Develop façade design solutions from concept and preliminary design stages through detailed design and construction documentation.
• Prepare façade engineering calculations, technical analyses, design reports, and supporting documentation.
• Produce and review façade shop drawings, fabrication drawings, installation drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Review architectural, structural, and consultant drawings to identify design conflicts, technical issues, and constructability concerns.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and project teams on design and technical matters.
• Attend design coordination meetings, technical discussions, and project review meetings as required.
• Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), technical submissions, method statements, and material submissions.
• Ensure all façade designs comply with project specifications, Singapore building regulations, and relevant industry standards.
• Support project teams in resolving site-related technical issues during fabrication and installation stages.
• Monitor design progress and drawing submission schedules to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Stay updated on local façade design standards, engineering practices, and industry developments.
