Job summary

MIN HAWK PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Design Team Lead to deliver high-quality façade design works, aligning with project schedules and standards. You will coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and site teams to resolve design and site challenges efficiently.

The role requires strong leadership in design development, review of drawings, and facilitating workshops to ensure constructability and compliance across all design phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Design Team to execute façade design works aligned with project requirements
• Organize and plan design activities to meet construction schedules and deadlines
• Allocate tasks and provide drafting guidelines to team members to maintain quality and improve productivity
• Review and check drawings and cutting list profiles to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
• Ensure all design deliverables meet standard requirements, specifications, and project scope
• Identify and report additional work or variations to Project Manager/Contract Manager for approval
• Coordinate design efforts between the Design Team, Consultants, Main Contractor, and other contractors
• Assist the site team in resolving site clashes to maintain project progress
• Lead workshops and review shop drawings to assess constructability, sequencing, and design quality
• Manage design change processes to minimize schedule delays and cost impacts
• Resolve unforeseen interface issues throughout various design phases to ensure smooth project execution
