Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• At least 5 years of façade engineering experience with glass curtain wall and cladding.
• Familiarity with façade design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper, Tekla).
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills, with stakeholder management ability.
• Thorough understanding of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• To prepare design calculations for building facade using design software.
• To review calculations and shop drawings to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and specifications.
• To manage complex interfaces between design, fabrication, and site installation with strong technical expertise in façade engineering, particularly in glass curtain wall and cladding systems.
• Collaborating with project managers, quantity surveyors, and project teams to provide solutions to structural issues of facade works
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources related to façade packages.
• Providing technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the construction process
• To be responsible and prepare for the BCA submission for approval
• Any other duties that assigned by a superior.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering or higher qualifications.
• At least 5 years of experience in façade engineering with proven expertise in glass curtain wall and cladding systems.
• Preferred to have an LTA projects background
• Strong understanding of material properties.
• Familiarity with façade design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper, Tekla, or equivalent).
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to manage stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
