Job summary

InternSG in Singapore is seeking a friendly service crew member to join our restaurant team. You will greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages, ensuring a positive dining experience.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work quickly in a busy environment, and flexibility to work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays. Transport and meals are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in customer service or hospitality is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
• Willingness to work on rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them to tables; take orders accurately.
• Serve food and beverages promptly; ensure dining experience.
• Process payments including cash and card transactions.
• Prepare tables and maintain cleanliness for the next guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate orders.
• Assist with oil filtering and dishwashing duties.
• Support events setup and ground operations.
• Stand for extended periods; operate a POS machine.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Customer facing duties (welcome customers and guide them to their tables)
• Take and manage customers orders accurately
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently
• Attention to service, ensuring good dining experience
• Process payments, including handling cash / card transactions
• Prepare tables to ensure cleanliness and readiness for the next guests
• Clear tables and maintain overall restaurant cleanliness
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time

Operations Responsibilities

• Assist with oil filtering
• Support with dishwashing duties
• Assist with events setup and ground support
• Role involves standing for extended periods
• Able to operate a Point of Sales (POS) machine
• Any other duties as assigned by Superiors

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service F&B or hospitality is an advantage but not mandatory
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to work on rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Work Arrangements

• 5-day work week with rotating shifts (including weekends)
• Typical shift : 4pm – 11pm(overtime pay provided if required)
• Transport provided for shifts ending after midnight
• Staff meals provided
