Job summary

The American Club, The in Singapore is seeking an enthusiastic dining floor ambassador to ensure every member enjoys a seamless and personalized dining experience. You will coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar teams, uphold high service standards, and create a warm, home-away-from-home atmosphere.

Ideal candidates are hospitality-focused with excellent interpersonal skills, able to manage service flow, handle feedback professionally, and work rotating shifts including weekends and public

Qualifications

• Proven hospitality experience in all-day dining or fine dining.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with Members.
• Ability to coordinate with kitchen and bar teams and manage service flow.
• Flexible schedule with weekend/holiday shifts; no midnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food & beverage service operations on the floor.
• Deliver personalized, high-quality guest experiences consistently.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth service.
• Ensure service standards, SOPs and hygiene practices are followed.
• Respond to Members feedback professionally.
• Monitor table setups, service flow, presentation standards.

• Hospitality-focused

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with Members
• Proactive, with strong coordination skills
• Knowledgeable about food, beverages, and service etiquette
• Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays (no midnight shifts)
• Experience spanning in an all-day dining and/or fine dining concepts
• Knowledge and experience in bartending would be a plus
