Job summary

Carlton City Hotel (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced F&B Supervisor to oversee daily guest service and ensure delivery of orders meets the hotel’s standards. You will lead F&B attendants, respond to guest requests, and uphold brand and safety guidelines.

The role involves maintaining hygiene, managing stock, and conducting staff briefings to keep operations smooth and compliant with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to train staff and handle complaints.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and responds to inquiries and requests promptly.
• Supervises service and delivery of items by F&B attendants per hotel standards.
• Keeps updated knowledge of hotel products and services in F&B.
• Resolves customer complaints during shift and logs in log book for follow-up.
• Conducts shift briefings to ensure activities are known to staff on duty.
• Maintains par stock for F&B supplies (cutlery, dinnerware, glassware).
• Oversees maintenance cycle for service equipment.
• Reinforces personal hygiene standards among staff.
• Adheres to local health, safety and brand standards and policies.
• Handles other F&B duties as assigned by Assistant Manager / F&B Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Greets guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a prompt and professional manner.
• Supervises the service rendered and delivery of ordered items by F&B attendants is timely and consistent with Hotel’s standards.
• Equips with updated knowledge of the Hotel’s products and services especially in the area of F&B offerings.
• Resolves customers’ complaints during shift and logs all complaints in log book for further follow up actions.
• Conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known to staff on duty.
• Checks and maintains par stock for F&B supplies e.g. cutleries, dinnerware, glassware etc. for smooth operations.
• Oversees the maintenance cycle for service equipment.
• Reinforces personal hygiene standards practiced by staff.
• Adheres to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.
• Handles other F&B duties as and when assigned by Assistant Manager / F&B Manager.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Possesses strong problem solving and training abilities.
• Possesses alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit as required by local government agency.
