Job summary

JurongHealth Campus is seeking an experienced supervisor to manage hospital meal services, ensuring accurate meal orders and high standards of hygiene and safety. You will supervise food service operations, coordinate catering orders, and monitor temperature controls across cold rooms and trolleys.

The role requires 5–7 years in a supervisory food-service environment, strong English communication, and proficiency with basic Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'N' Level / 'O' Level / Nitec. Diploma holder will have an added advantage.
• 5-7 years of related supervisory experience in hospital, upscale hotel, restaurant, or high-volume food service facility.

Responsibilities

• Generate patient meal orders and meal summaries.
• Handle enquiries and complaints on patient meals.
• Monitor and record control points such as reheating of food trolley, chiller & freezer temperatures; report deviations for corrective action.
• Report repair / maintenance needs to One Response Centre (ORC).
• Carry out Checker function by cross-checking meals and meal orders before loading into food trolley.
• Ensure standards related to food hygiene, CPP, Halal and workplace safety are adhered to.
• Report workplace safety, food safety and other operations issues to supervisor timely.
• Coordinate and generate all catering orders.
• Ensure work area is cleaned after each dishing / assembly session.
• Follow all instructions given by Supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'N' Level / 'O' Level / Nitec. Diploma holder will have an added advantage
• 5-7 years of related experience at a supervisory level, preferably in hospital, upscale hotel, restaurant, or high volume food service facility. Basic Food Hygiene certified
• Proficient in spoken English. Fluency in a second language will be an advantage
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledgein Electronic Meal Ordering System will be added advantage
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to work in cold room environment between 4 - 18°C
• Physically fit and strong
