Job summary

National University Health System (NUHS) invites applications for a role supporting JurongHealth Campus operations. You will prepare daily meal summaries, generate patient menu chits from EMOS, and handle phone enquires as part of the food services team.

The role requires basic education, a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, and the ability to work in a cold room environment. You will contribute to daily reports, monitor the food trolley docking system, and assist with related duties under

Qualifications

• Minimum Primary School qualification.
• Certification in Basic Food Hygiene.
• Able to work in cold room environment.
• Good knowledge in food production and preparation.

Responsibilities

• Generate daily meals summaries EMOS and hand over to kitchen sections.
• Generate patients’ menu chits from EMOS.
• Answer phone calls and enquiries.
• Maintain a daily report of events and complaints, noting actions taken.
• Monitor the Food trolley docking system and alert supervisor if any trolleys are not docked.
• Perform other related duties as directed by Supervisor.

Meal summaries

To generate daily meals summaries EMOS and handed over to each kitchen section for preparation / cooking / dishing / tray assembly etc.

Patients’ menu order chits

To generate patients’ menu chits from EMOS

Answering phone calls

To take in any phone calls enquires

Daily reports

To maintain a daily report of events and complaints, also noting what action was taken.

Managing of Food Trolley docking system

To be alert on each meal time by monitoring the Food trolley docking system. To alert IFS Supervisor/Executive if any Food trolleys are not dock

Perform other related duties as directed by Supervisor

To follow all instructions given by Supervisor

Requirements:

• Minimum Primary School qualification
• Possess certification in Basic Food Hygiene
• Able to work in cold room environment
• Good knowledge in food production and preparation
