Job summary

HSBC is seeking an Associate in Export Finance within Corporate & Institutional Banking in Singapore. The role focuses on supporting go-to-market efforts, client meetings, and the structuring of ECA-backed financing solutions across a multinational client base.

You will work in a hybrid environment, coordinating internal approvals, preparing marketing materials, and assisting senior team members in executing transactions while upholding HSBC’s standards and client service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in banking/corporate finance.
• Experience with Export Finance/ECA-backed financing is an advantage.
• Strong credit analysis and cash flow modelling skills.
• Ability to prepare client materials such as pitch books and RFPs.
• Strong command of English and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pitch books, teasers and RFP responses; coordinate client meetings.
• Assist with go-to-market planning, market scoping and origination opportunities.
• Coordinate internal approvals and governance processes (conflicts, profitability, capital allocation, credit, environmental).
• Support structuring of ECA-backed financings; analyze risk allocation and terms.
• Assist with execution of mandated transactions; summarize due diligence materials.
