Job summary

Pacific International Lines in Singapore seeks a Diploma-qualified Technical Executive to assist in project documentation, fleet operations, and digitization initiatives. You will support vessel managers on class surveys, flag changes, and ownership changes, and ensure timely follow-up with workshops and vendors.

You will register new vendors, assist with BASSNET implementation, and contribute to fleet process, performance, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in marine operations or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in marine-related operations.
• Experience with documentation and PIL processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with documentation works for Project implementation and retrofits.
• Facilitate Vessel Managers with tasks related to Class Survey, Change of flag and Change of ownership etc.
• Close follow up with Vessel Managers, PIL workshop and Vendors for spares landed for overhaul.
• Registration of new vendors into systems.
• Perform other duties and assume responsibilities as assigned.
• BASSNET support - Understudy and assist the PMS Manager in the implementation of BASSnet and database rebuilt/maintenance.
• Assist the PMS Manager with other Fleet digitization projects where applicable.
• Fleet Process, Performance and Compliance Department support; Collating and organizing of Fleet policies and procedures; Assist in the review of existing processes and implementation of new processes; Collating required data/information for the tracking of Fleet performance (KPIs, efficiency program); Process transactions (PO issuance) for sustainability projects.
• Support in implementation and monitoring new local and international regulatory requirements under Technical (ieEU ETS, EEXI,CII etc).
• Support in the implementation and monitoring Fleet and Technical in-house projects (ieVessel Inventory Management, Flying Repair Squad, Training Master/CE).

Job Requirements

Diploma certification with min 2 years relevant working experience in marine-related operations.

Technical Executive with some technical experience in shipping industry preferred.
