DHL Supply Chain Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced HSES Leader to serve as the primary contact for DHL operations, customer management and external stakeholders. You will lead an 11-person safety team and coordinate safety activities across two sites.

The role focuses on risk management, incident investigations, contractor safety oversight and continuous improvement. You will also participate in BIA/BCM exercises, fire drills and annual budget planning while reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum WSH Level C qualification or higher.
• BizSAFE Level 2 – Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan certification.
• MWAH certification.
• Food Hygiene Certification.
• At least five years of relevant HSE/WSH experience, preferably in logistics, warehousing, aviation or comparable operational environments.
• Demonstrated experience in workplace risk management, incident investigation, contractor safety management and regulatory compliance.
• Experience supervising safety personnel, coordinating safety activities and managing safety performance across operational teams.

Responsabilités

• Oversee safety performance and compliance across three external contractor/vendor organisations.
• Participate in Business Impact Analysis (BIA), BCM exercises and crisis response planning.
• Coordinate fire drills, evacuation exercises and tabletop exercises with relevant personnel.
• Annual safety budget planning and monitor expenditure against approved budgets.

Job Description:

• Coordinate safety manpower planning, competency development and the appointment of site Safety Representatives.

• Lead daily inspections, safety observations, scheduled GEMBA walks, management-led inspections and compliance assessments across both sites.

• Review risk assessments, work instructions, pictorial work instructions and safe work procedures for existing and new processes.

• Conduct site assessments, recommend improvements and track closure of findings with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Food Hygiene Certification.

• At least five years of relevant HSE/WSH experience, preferably in logistics, warehousing, aviation or comparable operational environments.

• Demonstrated experience in workplace risk management, incident investigation, contractor safety management and regulatory compliance.

• Experience supervising safety personnel, coordinating safety activities and managing safety performance across operational teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including safety data analysis, KPI tracking, management reporting and preparation of presentations.

• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to prepare reports and present safety performance to senior management, customers and external stakeholders.

• Good to have ISO 45001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification.
