Job summary

Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Executive, Finance (AR & GL) to manage the accounting function based in Singapore. This role supports monthly closings, journal entries, audit schedules and financial reporting.

The position requires a Diploma in Accountancy/Finance or ACCA, at least 3 years in accounting, familiarity with SFRS(I) and related standards, and strong MS Excel/PowerPoint skills. SAP, Blackline, BPC and Tagetik experience, plus Power BI, would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy/Finance or ACCA or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience, preferably in real estate.
• Well-versed in SFRS(I) and other accounting rules.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP, Blackline, BPC and Tagetik, Power BI is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly financial closing, journal preparation, bank reconciliation and management reporting.
• Assist in analysis of financial results; support forecasting and budgeting exercises.
• Assist with audit and tax information; liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

This position will be responsible for the Accounting function based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly financial closing, preparation of journals, audit schedules, bank reconciliation, preparation of financial results/management reports
• Assist in analysis of financial results; preparation of forecasting and budgeting exercises
• Assist with audit and tax information preparation; liaise with auditors and tax agents for year-end audit and tax filing/compliance
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Assist with other ad-hoc assignments such as UAT and data migration verification as and when required

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy/Finance or ACCA or its equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in real estate industry
• Well-versed in SFRS(I) and other accounting regulatory requirements
• Proficient in MS Office particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with SAP, Blackline, BPC and Tagetik, Power BI system(s) and/or real estate knowledge would have an added advantage
• Meticulous, analytical independent, a good team player and possess good communication skills as well as the ability to deliver quality work within stipulated timeline
