Job summary

JUEWEI FOOD MARKETING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an accountant with 2–3 years of experience to manage AR/AP, month-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliations. The role supports cash flow and cost analyses and collaborates with operations for timely financial reporting.

You will work with regional stakeholders in English and Chinese, contributing to audits, tax filings, and compliance, and using SAP Business One or similar ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting or audit experience, including full-set accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Experience with SAP Business One or a similar ERP system is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese for communication with regional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage AR/AP accounts, including month-end closing, journal entries, bank reconciliations.
• Handle payments and support cash flow, cost and management analysis.
• Manage customer, supplier, purchasing, inventory and project reconciliations.
• Support statutory audit, tax filings and local compliance matters.
• Provide support for the company's projects.
• Support management reports, financial schedules and ad hoc analysis.
• Work closely with operation teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 2-3 years of relevant accounting or audit experience, including full-set accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Experience with SAP Business One or a similar ERP system is an advantage.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently while remaining hands-on with accounting, reconciliation and data preparation.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese for communication with regional stakeholders.
• Experience in retail, F&B, food manufacturing or supply chain businesses is an advantage.
• Applicants who do not require employer-sponsored work authorisation in Singapore are preferred.
