Job summary

BugleRock Capital is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to run operations and finance for its Singapore business, support compliance, and collaborate with the India team. The appointment includes becoming an executive director of the company, subject to MAS approval.

Primary responsibilities include managing fund and VCC operations, finance, and regulatory reporting, while building AI-assisted workflows for a lean, high-quality team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in operations or finance leadership, ideally in fund management, asset management or multi-family office.
• Chartered accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore statutory and regulatory requirements (ACRA, IRAS, SFA, MAS notices, VCC Act).
• Experience with fund operations (NAV, administrators, custodians), internal controls and audits.
• Comfortable with AI tools and process automation.
• Able to meet MAS fit and proper requirements for an executive director.

Responsibilities

• Operations: own fund and VCC operations, client onboarding, vendor relationships, SOPs and controls, audit readiness, and operational reporting to CEO and Investment Board.
• Finance and accounts: lead the finance and accounting function, including monthly close, budgeting, statutory audit, and ACRA/IRAS filings, in coordination with group finance.
• India coordination: work with our India team on finance and operations.
• Compliance support: support the compliance function with administration and workflow. Compliance itself is led by an independent Compliance Officer reporting to the board and the CEO.
• Systems and team: build AI-assisted and automated workflows so operations run with a lean, high-quality team.
