Job summary

Qualifications

About us

BugleRock Capital is a MAS-licensed fund management company in Singapore (CMS100978), with a Singapore VCC umbrella of sub-funds and a wealth management and multi-family office business serving clients across India, Southeast Asia and the Gulf.

The role

The COO runs operations and finance for our Singapore business, supports the compliance function, and works closely with our India team. The appointment includes becoming an executive director of the company, subject to MAS approval.

Responsibilities

• Operations: own fund and VCC operations, client onboarding, relationships with the fund administrator and other vendors, SOPs and controls, audit readiness, and operational reporting to the CEO and the Investment Board.
• Finance and accounts: lead the finance and accounting function, including monthly close, budgeting, statutory audit, and ACRA and IRAS filings, in coordination with group finance.
• India coordination: work with our India team on finance and operations.
• Compliance support: support the compliance function with administration and workflow. Compliance itself is led by an independent Compliance Officer reporting to the board and the CEO.
• Systems and team: build AI-assisted and automated workflows so operations run with a lean, high-quality team.

Requirements

• 10+ years in operations or finance leadership, ideally in fund management, asset management or a multi-family office, or as a CFO or COO.
• Chartered accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore statutory and regulatory requirements, such as ACRA, IRAS, the SFA, MAS notices and the VCC Act.
• Experience with fund operations (NAV, administrators, custodians), internal controls and audits.
• Comfortable with AI tools and process automation.
• Able to meet MAS fit and proper requirements for an executive director.
