Job summary

Fuku, a Singapore-incorporated financial services firm, seeks an experienced COO / Executive Director to join the senior management team and Board. You will oversee day-to-day operations, governance, risk management and execution of the business strategy, reporting to the CEO.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge and the ability to work with regulators and the Board to ensure MAS compliance and effective controls across front-to-back operations.

Qualifications

• Significant senior management experience in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, AML/CFT and internal controls.
• Experience with MAS or regulated institutions preferred.
• Ability to work with regulators and Board.
• Experience in capital markets operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure execution of business strategy and operating model.
• Establish and maintain operational processes, controls, policies and procedures.
• Ensure regulatory readiness and ongoing MAS compliance with licence conditions.
• Identify, assess and manage regulatory, operational and conduct risks with Legal, Compliance and Risk teams.
• Prepare and present operational, risk, and management updates to the Board.
