The Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) seeks an Events Executive to support planning and delivery of its events and engagement activities, a hands-on role across the event lifecycle. You will coordinate venues, vendors, catering, AV, manage registrations, prepare materials, and assist onsite operations, with success measured by timely follow‑through and quality participant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of networking sessions, workshops, conferences and signature SHRI events.
  • Coordinate venues, vendors, catering, audiovisual requirements and other event logistics.
  • Liaise with speakers, guests, partners and internal stakeholders on event arrangements.
  • Manage invitations, registrations, confirmations and participant communications.
  • Prepare event materials including run sheets, attendance lists, name badges, signage and presentation materials.
  • Support event setup, registration and onsite operations.
  • Track timelines and deliverables, and follow up with relevant parties to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support post-event follow-up, feedback collation and reporting.
  • Assist with event-related administrative and coordination tasks as required.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a resourceful and highly organised Events Executive to support the planning and delivery of SHRI's events and engagement activities.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys making things happen. You will support the Events & Membership team across the event lifecycle, from planning, registration and stakeholder coordination to onsite execution and post-event follow‑up.

You will work on a variety of events, including networking sessions, industry dialogues, workshops, conferences and signature SHRI events. The role requires strong coordination, attention to detail and the ability to stay calm and responsive when managing multiple moving parts.

Success in this role is measured by reliable execution, timely follow‑through, attention to detail and the overall quality of the participant experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Support the planning and execution of networking sessions, workshops, conferences and signature SHRI events.
