Job summary

Temasek International Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an independent Associate for the Organisation Development team to design and execute employee engagement initiatives and events, supporting culture transformation and change programs.

You will plan budgets, coordinate vendors, produce event collaterals, manage onsite logistics, and analyze attendee feedback to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in event management, strong communication, and proficiency

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in engagement and design tools such as Forms, Mentimeter, Canva or similar.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and creating engaging PowerPoint presentations.
  • Experience organizing events using Zoom, Teams or similar.

Introduction

We are seeking an independent, creative and meticulous Associate to be a part of a dynamic Organisation Development team that plans and purposefully designs interventions which facilitate and contribute to organisational change. This role will focus on developing and implementing engagement initiatives and events to drive the organization's employee engagement, culture and transformation strategies. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in events management and project management.

Responsibilities
Planning and Organization
  • Conceptualize events, including brainstorming event themes and ideas.
  • Develop, track and monitor event budgets and finances.
  • Identify and propose venues and ensure they meet event requirements.
  • Create event schedules and timelines.
  • Assist to plan, organise and implement leadership forums and staff engagement events, including the procurement of event-related services, management of vendors (e.g. venue, catering, AV tech), catering, and liaising with internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Design and develop collaterals for events and engagement activities (e.g., electronic direct mails (EDM), posters, newsletters and videos).
  • Manage event logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and catering.
  • Serve as a point of contact for leaders and employees regarding events-related matters.
Third Party Management
  • Identify and support the selection of external partners (e.g., caterers, venue provider, AV equipment).
  • Support the negotiation of contracts and management of partner relationships.
  • Ensure external partners meet event requirements and deadlines.
On-Site Management
  • Oversee event setup and execution.
  • Coordinate working team roles and event staff (if any).
  • Address any issues that arise during the event.
Post-Event Evaluation
  • Collect and monitor feedback from event attendees and stakeholders through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and other data sources.
  • Analyze event data and create post-event reports and presentations.
  • Identify possible areas for process improvements for existing events/ initiatives and develop and implement the corresponding solutions.
  • Prepare content (e.g., thank-you emails, social media posts) summarizing event takeaways.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years relevant work experience in event management, internal communication, organisation development, human resources or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in engagement, collaboration and design tools such as Forms, Mentimeter, Canva or similar.

  • Proficiency in organising events using tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams or similar.
