Role summary

We’re looking for an Event Operations Manager & Facilitator to manage and lead the delivery of impactful team-building events. This role combines strategic event operations, supervision of the operations team, and hands‑on facilitation of the team building events. You’ll oversee logistics, mentor junior staff, and step into the spotlight as a facilitator, ensuring every event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression on clients.

Job Description & Requirements
1. Strategic & Operational Leadership
  • Lead day‑to‑day operations to ensure smooth execution of team‑building events, workshops, and corporate programs.
  • Develop and implement strategies that align with company goals, client satisfaction, and revenue targets.
  • Oversee logistics, manpower planning, and resource allocation for multiple events.
2. Event & Project Management
  • Supervise end‑to‑end event operations: client briefing, planning, vendor coordination, execution, and post‑event review.
  • Use Project management software to organize and manage event details and assignments; supervise that the team uses the software regularly and appropriately.
  • Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
  • Anticipate challenges and implement contingency plans.
  • Improve operational systems, SOPs, and tools for better efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement in event delivery, facilitation quality, and client engagement.
  • Stay updated with industry trends to innovate new experiences and operational models.
3. Team Leadership & Development
  • Supervise and mentor operations executives and support staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Maintain and manage a roster of part‑time staff to support event delivery.
  • Provide training and guidance to strengthen operational skills.
4. Facilitation of Team‑Building Programs
  • Actively facilitate team‑building events and workshops, engaging participants and ensuring impactful outcomes.
  • Deliver programs with energy, professionalism, and adaptability to diverse client groups.
  • Collaborate with senior facilitators to refine program design and techniques.
5. Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the operational point of contact for key clients, translating requirements into actionable plans.
  • Build strong client relationships through excellent delivery, responsiveness, and issue resolution.
  • Work closely with sales and business development teams to align operations with client expectations.
