Job summary

Housing and Development Board (HDB) in Singapore is seeking a professional to join our Office as part of a dynamic team. You will manage various improvement projects and deliver quality housing and maintenance services to residents.

The role involves coordinating with consultants and contractors, performing contract administration, site audits, and driving continuous improvement in home maintenance and estate management.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical background and/or experience (e.g. construction-related discipline) would be advantageous, but not necessary.
• Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• A passion to serve residents and improve living environments.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments.
• Confidence and assertiveness in decision-making and field activities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic project environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage improvement projects, including works on HDB flats and car parks.
• Manage consultants and contractors; handle contract administration such as payments, claims, variations, and extension of time.
• Conduct regular site audits and liaise with stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects to drive continuous improvement in home maintenance and estate management.

Job description

What the role is:

You will be part of a dynamic team in an HDB Office to manage various improvement projects and to serve the residents by providing quality housing & maintenance services

What you will be working on:

• Managing various improvement projects, which includesimprovement works to HDB flats and car parks
• Management of consultants and contractors, and handling contract administration matters such as processing payments, claims, assessing the need for variation works, extension of time.
• Conducting regular site audits and liaison with stakeholders to ensure projects meet quality and safety standards, are delivered on time, and within budget.
• Undertaking ad-hoc projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement in home maintenance and estate management.

What we are looking for:
