Job summary

A semiconductor manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking an Associate Engineer for the Diffusion Department. The successful candidate will assist engineers in enhancing equipment performance, undertake maintenance duties, and support production operations through active engagement in a diverse team. Additionally, fresh diploma holders are welcomed, showcasing a commitment to growth within the industry, as well as teamwork and problem-solving skills. This position involves a 12-hour rotating shift.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 - 5 years of experience in the electrical/electronics industry.
  • Able to perform 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Fresh diploma holders will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance.
  • Perform 12-hour shift duties to support production.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration.
  • Troubleshoot equipment-related issues and minimize downtime.
  • Assist in implementing process improvement projects.

We’re searching for an Associate Engineer to be part of our Diffusion (Furnace) Department diverse team of talent.

What you will be working on:
  • To assist the Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance and Cpk indices to meet operations goals
  • Perform 12-hour shift duties to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis
  • Assist Engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment
  • Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime
  • Assist in implementing process improvement projects
  • Assist new Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy
  • Participate in QIT programs to improve productivity and output quality of the Module, and constantly monitor and feedback to Engineers to improve performance of equipment to meet Module objectives
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practice and safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module
More about you:
  • Diploma/ ITC/ NTC in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Microelectronics/ Chemical Process Technology
  • At least 2 - 5 years working experience in electrical / electronics industry for Associate Engineer Position
  • Fresh diploma holders will also be considered
  • Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift
  • Team Player
