Job summary

Alphaeus Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking Deskside Support Engineers to support a large-scale IT deployment. The role is ideal for fresh graduates and entry-level IT professionals to gain hands-on experience in end-user computing and IT support.

You will provide onsite technical support to users, handle day-to-day desktop, laptop, hardware and software issues, and assist with IT service requests. Onsite work in Central Singapore, five-day work week. Starting around early September 2026.

Qualifications

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma or equivalent in IT or related fields.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Up to 1 year of IT/desk-side experience welcome.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktops, laptops and common IT peripherals.
• Basic networking knowledge is advantageous.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn and work as part of a team.
• Able to commence work on or around 1 September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite deskside and end-user IT support.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure and support Windows operating systems and standard applications.
• Perform setup, deployment, replacement and configuration of desktops, laptops and IT peripherals.
• Troubleshoot printers and other peripheral devices.
• Provide basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Assist users with common IT-related issues and service requests.
• Perform basic hardware diagnosis and coordinate replacement where required.
• Maintain proper records of IT assets, incidents and service requests.
• Escalate more complex technical issues to the appropriate support teams.
• Follow established IT support procedures, security requirements and service standards.
• Perform other IT support duties as assigned.

• Basic understanding of networking and troubleshooting would be advantageous.
