Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Named Hunter Account Executive to join its founding APJ team in Singapore. You will acquire and grow focus customers, selling within top enterprise accounts and guiding deals through evaluation to close.

Reporting to the SEA Director of Enterprise Sales, you will evangelize the Unified Analytics Platform, build pipeline with the SDR team, and drive cross-industry adoption while partnering with technology partners and customers to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions to Enterprise Customers in Singapore.
• Proven success in Enterprise Sales, preferably in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS technology.
• Experience selling innovative solutions with measurable business value.
• Sales approach focused on solutions and business outcomes (MEDDPIC, Challenger Sale).
• Ability to articulate cloud and big data technologies and their business value to customers.
• Consistent track record of growth and upward trajectory.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize the platform and launch the Databricks brand in Enterprise Accounts across industries.
• Prospect, identify, and source new sales opportunities, building pipeline with the SDR team.
• Engage with business and technical decision makers and lead them through evaluation and buying process.
• Exceed activity, pipeline and annual revenue targets.
• Engage with and drive business through local partners (tech partners, ISVs, SIs, GSIs).
• Drive customer success and upsell in existing customers.
• Create a Territory Strategy focused on industries, including the public sector.
