Job summary

Times Higher Education in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Director to accelerate growth, win strategic opportunities, and build partnerships with leading universities and corporate partners. You will lead enterprise sales and navigate complex procurement to drive major growth across priority institutions.

You will also develop partnerships and mentor the local team while collaborating with colleagues around the world to shape the region's higher education landscape.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in business development or enterprise sales within data, information or SaaS.
• Proven track record of winning large new logos and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
• Experience selling into higher education or similar institutions and understanding decision processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop market-entry and growth strategies for priority regions and segments.
• Identify and pursue high-value institutional opportunities with complex procurement processes.
• Develop strategic partnerships to support growth objectives.
• Lead, coach and mentor the Business Development team as needed.
• Qualify opportunities quickly and coordinate with Deal Desk for approvals.
