Qualifications

• Proven track record in strategic or key account management or enterprise sales.
• Experience growing high-value, multi-stakeholder accounts.
• Direct experience with universities or HE systems preferred.
• Strong executive presence with credibility at Vice-Chancellor or President level.
• Expert negotiator with solid financial acumen and deal structuring.
• Excellent account planning, forecasting, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own flagship institutional relationships and position THE as a strategic partner.
• Develop multi-year growth strategies aligned to institutional priorities.
• Structure multi-year agreements and manage bespoke pricing through the Deal Desk.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and translate outputs into actions.
• Engage executives including Vice-Chancellors and Presidents through targeted plans.
• Represent THE at sector events and client discussions.
• Monitor account health and lead renewal recovery plans.
• Mentor Account Managers where appropriate and feed client insights to product roadmap.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to maximize institutional value and oversee delivery.
• Oversee services and solutions delivery, onboarding, and post-campaign reporting.
• Onboard new clients quickly with clear briefs and maintain ongoing oversight.
• Spot renewal and upsell signals using usage reports and campaign insights.
