Job summary

Confluent in Singapore is seeking an Account Executive to drive sales and grow enterprise customer acquisitions in the region. You will develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the territory, targeting large corporate and multinational companies with database, messaging, big data, and open source solutions.

The role emphasizes building awareness for Kafka and Confluent, prospecting in the Banking and Financial Services sector, and closing deals to meet bookings targets while expanding

Qualifications

• 12+ years of enterprise sales experience.
• Experience selling to banks and financial services or public sector.
• Ability to articulate business value of big data and open source.
• Experience selling to developers and executives (C-level).
• Experience in startups/high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Build awareness for Kafka and Confluent.
• Aggressively prospect and develop sales pipeline in Banking/Financial Services.
• Close business to exceed bookings objectives.
• Build strong relationships within Banking and Financial Services institutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with Confluent partners.
• Create go-to-market plans based on viral and organic growth.
