Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking an AI Platform Specialist to help shape and manage the enterprise AI platform, enabling Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions across the bank. You will translate requirements into scalable platforms and support diverse use cases with a strong emphasis on operational excellence.

The role requires extensive AI engineering experience, cloud and containerization skills, and collaboration with data scientists, engineers and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years in AI engineering or similar roles with production deployments of AI/GenAI/Agentic AI.
• Proficiency in AI/GenAI/Agentic AI technologies incl. LLMs, context engineering, RAG, agent framework, memory management.
• Hands-on data management tech including Hadoop, Spark, ETL, relational & non-relational databases, vector DBs, knowledge graphs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the functional SME for the AI platform, guiding requirements and design decisions.
• Partner with technology/vendors to deliver platform enhancements.
• Define and implement the platform operating model with governance, security and compliance.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and stakeholders to onboard AI use cases.
• Design reusable libraries, frameworks, and utilities to accelerate development.
• Drive user onboarding, training and adoption of best practices.
• Monitor platform utilization, performance and cost efficiency for optimization.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to improve UOB's AI capabilities.
