Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking an experienced AI risk governance professional to independently validate Generative AI/Agentic AI solutions, assess inherent and residual risks, and provide challenge to AI builders. You will scan frontier technologies, develop proof-of-concepts, and communicate concise risk findings to senior management from Singapore.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Postgraduate or research background in machine learning, Generative AI, Agentic AI, or AI safety is an advantage.
• Certifications in responsible AI, model risk management, AI security, privacy, or related risk and governance domains are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent review and effective challenge of Generative AI and Agentic AI use cases.
• Conduct end-to-end AI risk assessments: inherent, control effectiveness, residual risk, remediation tracking, governance reporting.
• Apply third-party risk assessment processes for external AI providers and solutions.
• Research frontier AI technologies and regulatory developments; present decision-oriented findings to senior management.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and evaluation environments to support independent validation and risk assessment.
• Understand architectures: models, orchestration, agents, data pipelines, and AI observability tooling.
