Job summary

ZSE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a meticulous Purchaser cum Logistics Executive to manage end-to-end supply chain operations in Singapore, sourcing engineering materials and coordinating inbound/outbound logistics. You will liaise with suppliers, vendors, and freight partners to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

The role requires 2–4 years in purchasing and logistics, strong Excel and ERP skills, and a focus on quality and regulatory compliance. Nordcom II site experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration.
• 2–4 years of buying and logistics experience in engineering/manufacturing/heavy industry.
• Knowledge of international trade, Incoterms, customs regulations, and import/export docs.
• Advanced MS Excel skills for inventory analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication to suppliers and teams.
• Sharp negotiation and commercial acumen.
• Highly organized multitasking with attention to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and purchase engineering components, spare parts, and materials based on project specs.
• Build and maintain relationships with local and overseas suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, warranties, and delivery timelines.
• Manage end-to-end PR to PO purchasing process.
• Ensure incoming materials meet quality standards and ISO certifications.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport providers, and customs brokers.
• Prepare shipping documents and clearance paperwork.
• Analyze freight rates and routes to reduce costs.
• Identify and resolve shipment delays or customs hold-ups.
• Monitor warehouse and store inventory for high-turnover parts.
• Update procurement records and vendor databases in ERP.
• Cross-check supplier invoices against POs/DOs before payments.
