Job summary
GovTech in Singapore seeks an Engineering Manager to build and lead multiple agile engineering teams responsible for developing a trusted digital lifestyle content and engagement platform for Singapore Muslim citizens, delivered through both website and mobile application channels.
You will own the technical direction, architecture, security governance, and platform reliability, partnering with Product, Designers, stakeholders, GovTech partners, and vendors to deliver scalable, accessible
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years hands-on software development experience.
- 2+ years leading software engineers.
- Proven experience leading agile software development teams.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing engineering teams.
- Establish engineering processes, team structures, and agile delivery practices.
- Own the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of the platform and related capabilities.
- Ensure engineering excellence through secure, scalable, and reliable software.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate policy and service goals into technical solutions.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native technologies, DevOps, headless CMS, analytics, and AI-assisted development.
