Job summary

tlc technology is seeking an Engineering Lead for Capital Markets Technology in Singapore. You will lead a distributed team building real-time, event-driven platforms for pricing, execution, and trade processing in financial markets.

You will design scalable systems, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product owners to deliver business-critical features in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Java/Spring Boot and modern web technologies (React, Redux, RxJS).
• Proven track record in e-trading technology, derivatives, and capital markets domain.
• Strong background in distributed systems, microservices, and latency-sensitive applications.
• Hands-on technical leadership in agile product development environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed engineering squad, owning technical delivery and roadmap execution.
• Design and build complex, real-time, event-driven applications for capital markets.
• Ensure velocity, quality, and scalability of solutions across front-end and back-end stacks.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to deliver business-critical features.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
