Job summary

JLL in Singapore seeks an Engineering Lead to own the day‑to‑day management, reliability, and engineering execution of hard services at a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical facility. The role centers on HVAC and critical utilities to guarantee uptime and regulatory compliance.

You will lead a site engineering team, manage budgets, oversee audits, and maintain SOPs within an IFM framework, providing 24/7 standby support and strategic decisions to protect client KPIs and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of direct engineering experience handling HVAC and critical utilities within GMP/pharmaceutical environments.
• Proven track record leading technical teams and meeting KPIs on large accounts.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets and asset lifecycle in an outsourced IFM model.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site engineering operations and maintenance delivery with the on-site technical team.
• Act as primary technical contact for the client’s engineering and facilities leadership.
• Manage and optimize HVAC systems and M&E services in a GMP environment.
• Ensure GMP, EHS, and internal standards compliance and KPI delivery.
• Oversee budgets, CAPEX lifecycle planning, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors; support regulatory audits and inspections.
• Provide 24/7 standby and rapid escalation for emergency events.
