Job summary

RIGHT RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Production Supervisor for a global advanced precision engineering and manufacturing environment serving medical devices and automotive industries. You will oversee production plans, ensure quality, and drive continuous improvements on the shop floor.

The role requires 2–3 years in medical/manufacturing, engineering Diploma/NTC2, and basic MS Excel skills. Shift work is 12 hours (7pm–7am) with allowances and benefits, in a permanent, near-MRT setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NTC2 in Engineering; strong leadership and self-motivation.
• Basic knowledge of injection moulding.
• 2–3 years in medical/manufacturing or similar industries.
• Knowledge of ISO9001/ISO13485 is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills, especially MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Implement production work orders and plans to meet deadlines.
• Ensure products meet customer specs through monitoring and control.
• Monitor production processes and report deviations promptly.
• Set up machines and molds according to procedures and data sheets.
• Maintain 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Control scrap levels and optimize production efficiency.
• Close work orders on time to maintain production flow and reporting.
• Supervise packing and packaging to meet quality and delivery standards.
• Assist troubleshooting for quality, production, and tooling issues.
• Provide training to production staff to enhance skills.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve operational issues and drive improvements.

Our client (MNC) is a global advanced precision engineering & manufacturing company for Medical devices and Automotive industries.

Responsibilities

• Implement production work orders and plans to meet operational requirements and deadlines
• Ensure products consistently meet customer quality specifications through monitoring and control
• Monitor production processes and report deviations or changes promptly to management
• Perform machine and mold setup following established procedures and molding data sheets
• Maintain 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards to promote a safe and organized work environment
• Control scrap levels and optimize production efficiency to achieve target outputs
• Ensure timely closure of work orders to maintain production flow and reporting accuracy
• Supervise packing and packaging activities to meet quality and delivery standards
• Support troubleshooting efforts for quality, production, and tooling issues to minimize downtime
• Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance skills and operational performance
• Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvements

Requirements

• Diploma or NTC2 in any Engineering-related discipline, possess good leadership, self-motivated, preferably Mechanical Engineering
• Basic Injection moulding knowledge
• 2-3 years’ experience/knowledge in Medical, Manufacturing or similar industry
• Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485, is added advantage
• Basic computer knowledge i.e. MS -Excel skill is needed
