Job summary

RIGHT RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is recruiting a Production Supervisor for a global precision engineering environment in Singapore.

The role oversees manufacturing operations, ensures quality, and drives on-time delivery across Medical, Mold, and related processes. You will manage work orders, lead a small team, and maintain 5S and safety standards. The ideal candidate has a Diploma/NTC2 in engineering, basic injection moulding knowledge, 2-3 years in medical/manufacturing, and proficiency in MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NTC2 in engineering; good leadership and self-motivation.
• Basic knowledge of injection moulding.
• 2–3 years experience in medical/manufacturing.
• ISO9001/ISO13485 knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Implement production work orders and plans to meet deadlines.
• Ensure products meet customer quality specs through monitoring.
• Monitor production processes and report deviations promptly.
• Perform machine and mold setup as per procedures.
• Maintain 5S, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Control scrap and optimize production efficiency.
• Close work orders timely to maintain flow and reporting.
• Supervise packing to meet quality and delivery standards.
• Support troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Provide training to production staff to enhance skills.
• Collaborate with departments to drive continuous improvements.

Our client (MNC) is a global advanced precision engineering & manufacturing company for Medical devices and Automotive industries.

Responsibilities

• Implement production work orders and plans to meet operational requirements and deadlines
• Ensure products consistently meet customer quality specifications through monitoring and control
• Monitor production processes and report deviations or changes promptly to management
• Perform machine and mold setup following established procedures and molding data sheets
• Maintain 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards to promote a safe and organized work environment
• Control scrap levels and optimize production efficiency to achieve target outputs
• Ensure timely closure of work orders to maintain production flow and reporting accuracy
• Supervise packing and packaging activities to meet quality and delivery standards
• Support troubleshooting efforts for quality, production, and tooling issues to minimize downtime
• Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance skills and operational performance
• Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvements

Requirements

• Diploma or NTC2 in any Engineering-related discipline, possess good leadership, self-motivated, preferably Mechanical Engineering
• Basic Injection moulding knowledge
• 2-3 years’ experience/knowledge in Medical, Manufacturing or similar industry
• Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485, is added advantage
• Basic computer knowledge i.e. MS -Excel skill is needed
