Job summary

PERSONNEL LINK JOBHUB PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support BD, tooling coordination, and production optimization.

You will design workflows, coordinate suppliers, and help prepare quotations and packaging for new parts. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1–3 years of relevant experience, especially in healthcare/medical products. Office in Joo Koon/Pioneer; Mon-Fri 8:30am–5:45pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist Business Development Team in managing program-related issues and correspondences; monitor progress
• Coordinate with tool and assembly equipment suppliers for smooth program launches
• Design workflows and optimize production layouts with production department to improve machine efficiency
• Source quotations for tooling and components from suppliers for initial startups
• Work on new quotations and packaging requirements for new parts
• Support production and quality departments in troubleshooting processing and quality issues
• Provide timely customer support and respond to inquiries
• Update tooling activities, bills of materials, and project review records
• Coordinate mold trial activities; prepare periodic tool-life reports
• Design and collaborate with suppliers on jigs and fixtures for secondary processes

• Source and gather tooling and component quotations from suppliers for initial project startups.
• Work on new quotations and packaging requirements for new parts.
• Support production and quality departments in troubleshooting processing and quality issues related to plastic parts.
• Provide timely customer support and respond to customer inquiries.
• Update all tooling activities, bills of materials, and project review records
• Coordinate all mold trial activities. Prepare periodic tool-life reports for customers.
• Design and collaborate with suppliers on jigs and fixtures required for secondary processes.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 1 - 3 years relevant experience and preference to those with experiences in managing healthcare/medical products.
• Good knowledge of project management and production process. Knowledge of plastics molding or toolings will be advantageous
