Job summary

Ideals Recruitment Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced injection moulding process engineer to lead NPI projects from mould trials to production handover.

Responsibilities include T0-T3 mould trials, DOE, process validation, and process optimisation; you will review Moldflow results and support design reviews with customers and suppliers. A Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Polymer Engineering is required, with 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Polymer Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of injection moulding process engineering experience, with NPI exposure.
• Strong knowledge of scientific moulding, process validation, DOE and process optimisation.
• Experience with Moldflow, hot runner systems, Cp/Cpk, SPC and RCA.
• Experience in medical, electronics or high-precision manufacturing is preferred.

• Lead injection moulding process development for NPI projects from mould trials to production handover.
• Plan and conduct T0-T3 mould trials, establish process windows and optimise machine/process parameters.
• Conduct DOE, process capability studies and scientific moulding activities.
• Support DFM, mould/tool design reviews and technical discussions with customers and suppliers.
• Review Moldflow results and provide process recommendations.
• Lead IQ/OQ/PQ validation, process qualification and documentation activities.
• Define critical process parameters, control plans and process setup standards.
• Support FAT/SAT for moulds, automation and equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and drive moulding process improvements.
• Support customer/supplier technical reviews and ensure smooth transfer of validated processes to production.
• Capture lessons learned and implement improvements across NPI projects.

Salary Package: Basic up to $7000

Working Location: 3 bus stops from Woodlands interchange

Working Hours: Mon to Fri (8.15am-5.45pm)
